Brendan Mewhinney

Brendan Mewhinney is a Partner at HSM, where he helps clients achieve cost-effective results. Practicing law for over 10 years, Brendan has a diverse litigation and transactional practice, concentrating in representing individuals and small and medium sized businesses in commercial litigation, construction, general corporate, real estate, commercial transactions, and estate planning.

Brendan’s litigation practice includes general commercial, construction, shareholder disputes, creditor’s rights and collections, personal injury, and insurance defense. He has tried cases in state courts throughout Ohio and has mediated numerous cases to positive results for clients.

Brendan’s transactional practice includes assisting individuals and small and medium sized businesses with mergers and acquisitions, shareholder buy-sell agreements, commercial and residential real estate, and general corporate guidance from entity selection/formation to wind-up and dissolutions and on-going corporate governance matters.

A native Clevelander, Brendan is a graduate of The Ohio State University (2009) and Cleveland State University College of Law (2012).
